Dr. Ambika M R

Dr. Ambika M R is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Physics. She has 13 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience, served as a Member/Co-ordinator of several academic/curricular activities, authored and co-authored several national and international publications. Her area of interest includes Radiation Physics, Polymer composites, Nanocomposites & Computational Physics. She takes the credit of patenting her work (1 Indian & 1 German). In 2025, she was awarded the prestigious INSA Visiting Scientist Fellowship. She has successfully completed one research project and is currently leading a research project sanctioned by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Government of India. She is also guiding three doctoral research scholars. Dr. Ambika M. R. is a life member of several professional organizations, including the Indian Society for Radiation Physics, Indian Association of Nuclear Chemists and Allied Sciences, Indian Association for Radiation Protection and Indian Science Congress.
