Dr. Lokesha

Dr. Lokesha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, with 30 years of combined experience in academia and industry. He holds a Ph.D in application of AI in machine tool condition monitoring from VTU, Belagavi (2020), an M.Tech in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from MSRIT (2010), and a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from MSRIT (1996). He has 15 years of teaching experience across MSRIT, Acharya Institute of Technology, and East Point College of Engineering Technology. His industrial background spans 15 years, including 7 years in press tool design and toolroom management at QDOS Flexcircuits (Malaysia and India), 6 years as a trainer at Nettur Technical Training Foundation, and roles at Honeywell Technology Solutions and HMT Watch Factory. Dr. Lokesha has published 20 peer-reviewed journal papers, guided multiple research scholars and student projects, and delivered technical talks on Finite Element Analysis and renewable energy. He is a certified ISO internal quality auditor and mentor for an internationally recognized Unmanned Aerial Vehicle student project.
