Dr. Jaya Christiyan K G is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, with 25 years of combined experience in manufacturing industry and academia. Dr Christiyan is a researcher specializing in advanced composite materials, mechanical characterization, and additive manufacturing. Research focuses on particulate and fiber-reinforced polymer composites, wear behavior analysis, tensile testing, and 3D-printed composite structures. Expertise spans experimental mechanics, material optimization using Taguchi methods, and failure analysis of engineered materials. Contributes to interdisciplinary applications including AI-driven robotics, computer vision integration, and autonomous systems.
