Bio
Dr. Shruthi G is an Assistant Professor at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, with approximately 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience in machine learning, deep learning, and digital image processing. She holds a Ph.D. in Digital Image Processing from VTU/MSRIT (2024), M.Tech in Computer Network Engineering from NIE Mysore (2010), and B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bahubali College of Engineering (2003). Her research interests span artificial intelligence, data science, video processing, and information security.
Dr. Shruthi has published 9 papers in international journals (2 Q2, 7 Q3/Q4; 2 accepted), 6 papers in IEEE conferences, and 3 papers in national conferences. She has received awards including a Certificate of Excellence from Samsung (2023) for intelligent video enhancement, Best Paper Award (2014), and Best Teacher Awards (2010, 2013). She is a member of ISTE and CSI, serves as a reviewer for IEEE conferences and CRC Taylor and Francis publications, and has achieved 146 citations. Currently, she handles SAMSUNG PRISM and UNISYS industry projects.
