Subodh Vithal Manvi

Subodh Vithal Manvi is a PhD researcher and faculty in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, specializing in GNSS positioning, GNSS–INS integration, and robust filtering techniques including Kalman Filter, UD Filter, and SRIF. His research focuses on GNSS outage mitigation using multi-sensor fusion and map-aided navigation in degraded environments. He has developed dynamic state-space models, implemented numerically stable filtering algorithms, and conducted extensive simulations with real-world GNSS datasets. As an Instructor at MSRIT, Manvi teaches Innovation & Design Thinking Lab and co-mentors undergraduate projects in GNSS positioning and filtering. Previously, he served as Project Associate on the DST-funded NavIC receiver development project and held positions at Nokia Networks and Aryaka Networks. His technical expertise spans MATLAB, Python, signal processing, state-space modeling, and estimation theory.
