Dr. Kusuma S M

Dr. Kusuma S M is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, where she has been serving since 2012. She holds a Ph.D. from REVA University (2023), M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded System Design from Visvesvaraya Technological University (2012), and B.E. in ECE from Mysore University (1991). Her research interests span wireless sensor networks, machine learning, IoT, edge computing, and 5G communication technologies. She has published 14 papers in international journals, 12 in national journals, and presented numerous papers at international and national conferences. Dr. Kusuma has secured funded projects from ISRO worth Rs. 16,94,880 and received consultancy projects from industry partners. She holds one granted Indian patent for a wearable yoga training and tracking device.
